Monster Fish Man & His Drug Pig

Tis the time to get excited about Halloween! I created this one for that weekly drawing thing, and since it was my week to choose the topic, I went all out!

Here's the story behind the name:
I wanted to have a nice Halloween theme, so I first chose Monster Fish Man. Then later in the week, I went hiking with my brother, his wife, and my dad, and as we were hiking my brother and I began trying to speak in German (because my brothers wife knows German) and by mistake I ended up saying Drug Pig! So there you have it, and what a fine title it is! Have a wonderfully spooky Halloween!

Mountain Man

This is my interpretation of an old man of the mountains. He's a giant that knows all and has many stories to tell of the vast and dangerous mountain passes. This is another drawing for that weekly drawing thing. The word given was mountain.

Imaginary Deity

Here's another drawing I did for that weekly drawing thing. As my mind wandered and swayed to and fro, a little flying king pig popped into my head.

Weekly Email Design

My friend and ex-classmate Mr. Aaron Bloom started a weekly design email thread where someone picks a word, saying, or sentence and we design or draw whatever we like. It's grrrreat fun! Here are the first two that I designed.

Mr. Gromble the Dingus

I created this old guy from a word that a couple of my co-workers came up with. Dingus. It came to them while wandering around in Home Depot, so I took those idea's and created the old and ornery Mr. Gromble! He would smack you in the head with his cane if you could see it!

Naked and Famous - Young Blood

This video is pretty sweet. I just thought I should share it with you. It makes me want to go have fun in the sun. It also makes me want to go swimming or tubing down a river. I thought the music sounded a lot like M83 when I first heard it...but it's not. This song is sweet. I look forward to hearing the rest of their album soon, it releases Sept. 6th, 2010. The albums called 'Passive Me, Aggressive You'. Oh....and the band is called Naked and Famous.
